Dr. Richard W. Puls
Dr. Puls has a rich background in counseling, ministry, and Christian education. He has over 30 years of pastoral experience, serving as a youth pastor, worship leader, and senior pastor in churches in Southern California. He received his bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministries from Hope International University. After receiving a master's degree in Christian Education from Grace Graduate School, he expanded his ministry to include directing and training Bible school teachers, planning retreats and writing curriculum. He took a special interest in strengthening families.
This passionate concern led Dr. Puls to complete a second master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Pepperdine University and a doctorate in psychology at American Behavioral Studies Institute. As a therapist, he has counseled hundreds of individuals and couples, spoken on topices of change and growth, led siminars on pyscholological issues, taught graduate courses on therapy, and appeared as a guest expert on a Christian radio talk show.
Dr. Puls integrates sound psychological principles with eternal Biblical truths to facilitate change and growth in individuals, couples, and families. He believes in the need for people to reconcile with God, themselves, and others.
